Second half of Fran Hall collection now available
The Northfield History Collaborative is proud to present to you the second part of the Fran Hall negatives collection.
These 118 images, plus the 100 introduced in December, comprise the formal collection of images from this Northfield photographer, housed at the Northfield Historical Society.
Three new books available online
Carleton College announced today that it has made three books relating to its history available online. All three will be accessible via the Northfield History Collaborative portal.

Here at the Northfield History Collaborative, we’re approaching some of the final details before we upload scans of the Northfield Public Library’s “Early Northfield History Scrapbook,” compiled in the 1930s by Mrs. Emily Bierman.
This scrapbook will be full-text searchable and so valuable to the community! The fragile state it’s in has meant the original has been safely locked away for years.
New collection posted in honor of late photographer
In honor of photographer Fran Hall, who passed away late last week at the age of 96 in Colorado, we have posted about half of the Northfield Historical Society's collection of his film negatives.
